Apart from the stunning views to the caldera and the volcano, Santorini has a long history starting, according to the up to nowadays research, about 7000 years ago and the most important settlement of the time is Akrotiri.

The island is also significant in the international wine lists, as the local wineries use the indigenous varieties and especially the dominant one, Assyrtiko, creating a unique wine in the volcanic soil and special climate of the area.

Architecture is also a domain of interest with the cubic minimalistic houses perching on the top of the volcanic rocks creating a harmonic architectural complex, offering a pleasure for the eye and the soul. Oia is the most picturesque of the villages absolutely representative of the unique architectural elements of Santorini.

In our 6 hour tour, you are going to get a very good taste of all the above. It is ideal for first-time visitors as it offers a variety of themes and activities and a visit of all the highlights of the island.

The cruise ships do not dock in Santorini, but you are going to be tendered out to the ports. The cruise's tours are tendered out to the New port, Athinios. The individual passengers, like you, are going to be tendered out to the Old port, beneath Fira town. There is no road connecting this port to the town, apart from an uphill path including 600 steps. The faster and easier way to reach the town is the cable car.

As soon as you reach the port you are going to see on the left the cable car station. If you arrange early disembarkation you are going to avoid the queue in front of it, so try to be in one of the first tender boats going to the OLD PORT. We will be waiting for you at the exit of the cable car on the top holding a sign with your name on it.

Our morning tours start at 9:00. In case your cruise ship arrives later in the day. allow approx. 1 hour for your disembarkation, tendering and cable car till we meet.

The last tender boat for your cruise ship departs approx. 45 minutes before the ship`s departure. It will be safer to finish the tour at least 45 minutes prior to the last tender boat, so that you have enough time to get on time to the port in the unlikely case of a long line at the entrance of the cable car.
